Officials with the Wayne County chapter of Citizens for Constitutional Liberties, often called the "Tea Party" are sponsoring a series of seminars to assist local residents interested in learning of the primary purposes of the United States' Founding Fathers in writing the Constitution.

The seminars will feature representatives of the John Locke Foundation, Civitas Institute and Americans for Prosperities, along with other qualified constitutional scholars. Local pastors will point out the Biblical principles in the Constitution.

The series will be held July 18, 19, 21, and 22 at Victory Free Will Baptist Church at 1806 Wayne Memorial Drive, from 9:30 a.m until 3 p.m. daily. There will be classes for kindergarten age children through adults, with refreshments each night and lunch on Saturday. Cost is $10 per individual and $15 per family.

A drawing for a gun wil be held on Saturday, July 23. Tickets will be $5 each. Registrations and tickets are available by calling Linda Harper at (919) 751-1090 or visiting www.citizensforconstitutionalliberties.org.
