Greene bluegrass concert June 14

SNOWHILL -- "Bluegrass in the Courtyard," sponsored by the Greene County Performing Arts Series, will be held Tuesday, June 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the courtyard of the the Greene County Museum at the corner of Third and North Greene streets in Snow Hill.
The free concert will featuring fiddle-playing teenage phenom Samantha Casey and The Bluegrass Jam. This group offers entertainment for all ages with their fun-filled show of traditional and original bluegrass, bluegrass gospel, and fiddle tunes. They have performed for churches, civic organizations, and bluegrass audiences throughout Eastern North Carolina since 2003.
Tickets for $10 box suppers are available at the Greene County Museum and suppers can be picked up prior to the concert from 6-7:15 p.m. Eating space will be available inside the museum.
Area residents are urged to bring family, friends and lawn chairs for the outdoor concert and enjoy a wonderful early summer evening of entertainment.
