Postal employee Glendale Wiggins sorts some of the 12,850 pounds of canned goods and other non-perishables collected by mail carriers along their routes Saturday at the William Street post office. The food will go to help the Community Soup Kitchen of Goldsboro, HGDC Community Crisis Center, The Salvation Army, Shiloh Farm Ministry, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, United Church Ministries and Wayne Uplift Domestic Violence Shelter. Assisting with the pickup and sorting were area churches, the AT&T Call Center, the United Way, the Salvation Army and Hoots Hauling in Goldsboro.
