DVDs stolen from library
An unidentified black male reportedly made away with $180 worth of DVDs from Wayne County Public Library on Thursday afternoon, according to Goldsboro police. Matt Bolen of the library alleged that the man removed discs from several DVD cases, concealed them in a black book bag covered by a newspaper and exited the building. Video surveillance cameras were also accessed during the investigation.
Car shot at Fast Eddie's
Harry Allen Owens Jr., 24, North Center Street, reported to Goldsboro police about $150 worth of damages to the driver's side window of his vehicle and $350 to a rear window, which he said were both shot out while parked at Fast Eddie's early Saturday morning.
Computers stolen
Ronald Reeves, 27, Cuyler Best Road, told Goldsboro police that two computers, valued at $1,800, were taken from his residence, which had been left unsecured.
