Grocer gets scammed

A report was filed Tuesday with the Goldsboro police accusing an unknown person of switching price tags on grocery items at Carlie C's.

The report states that a $4 price tag was removed from an item and placed on a variety meat pack with a value of $117.

The cashier did not realize the $113 scam until the customer had left the store.
