Mexican eatery broken into
El Korita on Berkeley Boulevard was the scene of breaking and entering between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday. Over $700 in property damaged occurred and the suspect(s) made off with $300 in cash, according to a police report.
Metal theft at Ash Street business
Between Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons the copper and aluminum components were removed from an air conditioning unit at Eye 1 Optical on East Ash Street. The listed loss was $8,400. An owner said of the A/C unit, "they took everything in it."
