MOUNT OLIVE -- Two men, one from Mount Olive and the other from Faison, are facing a combined total a 13 drug-related charges following a weekend raid.
Didymus Jamar-Burl Pearsall, 34, of Beems Street in Mount Olive was arrested on 10 charges and Charlton Armwood, 23, of David Bright Road in Faison was arrested on three charges.
Pearsall was charged with two counts of trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession of ecstasy, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of illegal lottery tickets and two counts of possession of firearm by a convicted felony.
Pearsall's arrest stems from an investigation from complaints received by the police department and upon the execution of a search warrant at the residence, said Interim Chief of Police Brian Rhodes.
Pearsall was taken before a Wayne County Magistrate where he was released on a $45,000 secured bond.
Armwood was charged with simple possession of Schedule 2 (Percocet pills) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Armwood was cited and released.
