Shoplifting

*Chris Jordan, manager of CVS, told Goldsboro police officers that a black male wearing a white and blue jacket reached behind a store counter and stole a touch screen tablet valued at $99 and left the store. Jordan said the subject, who was accompanied by a black female with a small child, fled when approached outside the store.

*Carlie C's IGA manager Mike Pendergraft told Goldsboro police officers that a customer left the store Friday morning without paying for an estimated $8 worth of cold medications.

*Around 3:45 a.m. Friday at Walmart on Spence Avenue, two black females reportedly left the store without paying for four iPads, according to a report filed with Goldsboro police by store employee Veronica Crumpler.

Thefts

*Brenda Thornton, 50, N. Jackson Street, told Goldsboro police she returned home and discovered a side door had been damaged, a window was broken and several items were missing. Among items stolen were a $400 computer monitor, $900 gold necklace, $120 watch and two gold necklaces valued at $300.

*On Friday evening, while at a friend's residence on Carver Drive, Gregory Brown, 30, of John Street, reported to Goldsboro police his vehicle was vandalized and a $350 car stereo was taken. Damage to the driver's side car window was estimated at $100.
