Wayne County school activities for this evening canceled

Wayne County Schools has canceled after after-school activities scheduled for today, including all basketball games. The North Duplin-Goldsboro and Charles B. Aycock-Eastern Wayne games have been rescheduled for Jan. 26. The Spring Creek-Princeton games are now slated for Jan. 19. The 11th annual Falcon Invitational, scheduled for Saturday at Aycock, has been moved back one hour to a 10 a.m. start. The Ayden-Grifton at Rosewood games have been moved to Jan. 13. The Carolina-4 Rivers wrestling duals are now 2 pm Saturday at Ayden-Grifton.
