It took the Wayne County Planning Board less than 15 minutes Tuesday night to handle its three-item agenda of plat approvals. The plats now go to county commissioners for final approval.

One of the plats had been before the board earlier, but had been sent back to the developer with recommended changes.

The plat involves three lots on the east side of Antioch Loop Road in Pikeville Township. At their meeting last month, board members had been concerned about the depth of the lots.

Should the existing houses on the lots be demolished or destroyed, the original lots would not been deep enough to meet setback requirements from highway the right of way.

The board asked owners/developers Frederick and Patricia White to revise the lots by making them deeper. They agreed to the change and the plat was unanimously approved.

Two other plats were approved:

* Stacy E. Whittington final, one lot on the south side of Bartlett Road in Pikeville Township.

* Kenneth Coor Jr. final, two-lot revision on the south side of Old Smithfield Road in Pikeville Township. The revision was required after a house on one of the lots had been built over an access right of way.
