Swimming pool stolen from home

More than $11,000 worth of property including a 33-foot wide and five-foot deep above-ground swimming pool valued at $8,000 was stolen from a residence on Grady Road at Princeton. Wendy Marie Earp, 48, of Rosewood Road, Goldsboro told deputies that several items had been taken from the house. Also taken were an air conditioning unit, $500; refrigerator, $800; flat-top stove, $1,200; kitchen table, $200; and two ceiling fans, $400. Damages totaled $10,000 to hardwood flooring at the house.

Thefts

*Jessica Ashley Mooring, 22, Antioch Road, Pikeville reported to Wayne County Sheriff's deputies the theft of a PlayStation 3 game console and controller valued at $350; PlayStation 3 game, $50; and a charger for a game controller, $15.

*Almost $2,000 worth of property was taken during a break-in at the home of Nanette M. Northam, 50, N.C. 581, Pikeville, according to a Wayne County Sheriff's report. Items taken and their values were: 48-inch flat-screen TV, $1,088; DVD player, $60; computer, $600; computer monitor, $200; and comforter, $35. Damages totaled $40 to a storm window and $10 to a brass window lock.

*Timothy Lee Mills, 33, Gurley Avenue reported to Wayne County Sheriff's deputies the theft of several items from his home. The items and their values were: PlayStation 3 game console and controller, $200; Wii game console and controller, $200; diamond ring and wedding ring set, $500; diamond pendant necklace, $300; and heart diamond necklace, $300. Damages totaled $200 to a door frame and $125 to a door window.

*Brandon Edward Jones, 31, Old Grantham road reported to Wayne County Sheriff's deputies the theft of a $500 air conditioning unit.

*Christopher Andrew Freeman, 41, West Raintree Lane reported to Wayne County Sheriff's deputies the theft of a 2003 Nissan valued at $20,000. Also stolen was a $300 GPS unit belonging to James Edward Freeman, 46, Sunny Acre Drive, Fayetteville.

*Jason Ballou, 24, King James Way, Pikeville, reported to Wayne County Sheriff's deputies the theft of his rifle. Ballou tooke the rifle from his vehicle and placed it on his front lawn while cleaning his automobile. Ballou returned two hours later to find his rifle missing.
