Layla Willford benefit concert Saturday

The Malpass Brothers and Samantha Casey and the Bluegrass Jam will headline a benefit concert Saturday night at Wayne Community College to help raise money for the family of Layla Williford, a 2-year-old Wayne County girl fighting cancer.
The show is being sponsored by Prudential The McMillen Real Estate Group, a local real estate agency, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to Layla. The musicians also are donating their time.
The show begins at 7 p.m. in Moffatt Auditorium and also will feature singer Brent Hood and Kirk Keller as emcee. Cost is $15 per person. All seats are reserved. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling Hood at 920-3232 or they may be bought at the door, if seating has not been sold out.
