AC units dismantled

Three air conditioning units at Selah Church on Selah Church Road, Four Oaks, were damaged after someone dismantled them in order to remove internal components, mainly copper, Wayne County sheriff's deputies said. The remaining parts were left behind. Damages totaled $20,000

Mobile home damaged, items taken

Wayne County sheriff's deputies are investigating a fire at a mobile home as well as the theft of numerous items from the home. Eric Robinson, 39, Bellamy Circle, Greenville, told deputies he discovered the damage and theft when he went to check on a mobile home he owns on Armstead Drive. The mobile home suffered smoke damage, the worst of which was in the master bedroom. Damages totaled $200 to a set of box springs and $150 to a mattress. Reported as stolen and their values were: two TV's, $175; two-way radio, $100; generator, $300; portable DVD play, $299.99; PlayStation, $40; hair clippers, $50; hair clipper blades, $200; speaker box, $150; car stereo, $100; push mower $190; electric chainsaw, $175; DVD player, $110; window air conditioning unit, $200; four chrome wheels, $800; Weed Eater, $80; clothing, $800; pots and pans, $150; 25 Disney DVD's $500.

Thefts

*Robbie Eugene Godbey, 63, Hardingwood Drive, reported to Goldsboro police the theft of several items from his home. Items taken and the values were: 32-inch flat screen TV, $1,400; miscellaneous jewelry, $500; eight bottle of miscellaneous of alcohol, $300; $300 cash; five boxes of cigars, $100.

*Anita Lewis, 33, Kennon Avenue told Goldsboro police someone had broken into her home taking 50 DVD's valued at $500; printer $60; 13 pairs of pants, $500; DVD player, $20; radio, $25; push mower, $50. Damages totaled $50 to a door frame.

*A 50-inch flat screen TV valued at $1,500 was taken during a break-in at the home of Brandon Norfleet, 22, West Lockhaven Street, according to Goldsboro police.

*A motorcycle valued at $20,000 was stolen from the home of Tremonteo Ray Stanley, 39, Lancaster Road, Pikeville, according to Wayne County Sheriff's deputies.

*Four rifles valued at $1,100 and a 20-gauge shotgun valued at $100 were stolen during a break-in at the home of Crystal Aycock Jackson, 36, Polly Watson Road, Fremont, according to Wayne County Sheriff's deputies. Damages totaled $200 to a door and door frame.

*Freeman Todd Stepp, 42, Greystone Drive, reported to Wayne County Sheriff's deputies the theft of a moped valued at $5,000.

*John Frank Faison, 71, Hack Drive, Dudley, reported to Wayne County Sheriff's deputies the theft of a 37-inch flat screen TV valued at $1,000 and high definition receiver valued at $300. Damages totaled $300 to a door and door frame.

*Several items were stolen during a break-in at the home of Jerry Lee Yelverton, 59, Wayne Memorial Drive, Pikeville, according to Wayne County sheriff's deputies. Items taken and their values were: toolbox, $100 and various tools, $530.

*Wayne County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a break-in and theft at Sasser Camping Center on U.S. 70 West. Items taken and their values were: air compressor, $135; carpet shampoo wand, $125; tool box and tools, $400; 2.5 ton floor jack, $175; DVD player, $200; TV, $150; 10 DVD's, $200; radio, $15; generator. Damages totaled $80 to a lock and $511 to the business' entrance.
