Nona Griffin, 84, does the twist during a senior dance Friday at the Herman Park Center. The dance was for people 50 and older and was a collaboration between the Goldsboro Family YMCA, Goldsboro Parks and Recreation, and Wayne County Office of the Aging. More than a hundred seniors danced the night away. Wayne County Services on Aging Director Eryn McAuliffe said the purpose of the Lula theme dance was to "get seniors to socialize and get exercise from dancing."
