AT&T cellular service returned

Telephone cell service to AT&T customers was returned Wednesday evening shortly after 9 p.m.
Customers across eastern North Carolina were left without power after a Raleigh power plant failure early Wednesday morning.
Crews worked from 6 a.m. until after nightfall to return service to customers.
