Shannon Buchanan, a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Goldsboro, gives a wave of gratitude to airmen as they drive off Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. Mission: M25, a part of the church's outreach ministry, gave a public sign of thanks to Air Force personnel leading up to Memorial Day weekend. "We want to let the airmen know we appreciate them fighting for our freedoms," coordinator Gary Whaley said.
