Piedmont Equipment Leasing now open

Piedmont Equipment Leasing, a recently opened business in Goldsboro, is looking to offer its help to area businesses.
The business, located at 2424-E N. William St., finances other businesses for equipment purchases.
"Primarily we're financing equipment to the average business, whether it's a startup or a Fortune 500," said President Jim Blizzard. "We will lease or finance anything that makes sense. Anything from medical to phone systems and refrigerator equipment. Most of the time we're financing road or transportation equipment."
Blizzard, who recently moved his business from Wilmington, is originally from Goldsboro. The difference with his business is that they're more attentive to their customers, he said.
"We have more of a personalized service. We don't have a voicemail, we actually answer the phone," he said.
He describes Piedmont as one-stop shopping that can finance a variety of equipment and industries. They also have free consulting over the phone.
"We're looking at the deal for what it's worth, we won't turn someone down because of a credit score," he said. "We have the capability of doing any type of credit from A to D. So if anybody has any credit issues, that really shouldn't deter them from calling us."
