Goldsboro resident publishes book of poems

A Goldsboro resident has penned a book of poems that represents a collection of works about love, life, romance, friendship as well as real-world issues.
Quiana Deanna Bradshaw's "In My World of Poetry: Poetic Essence," draws from real life experiences as well as her own dreams and fantasies. Each poem is inspired by a particular event, whether it was an experience that was personal to Bradshaw or an incident, like Sept. 11, that touched the lives of people all over the world.
"I want readers to take a glimpse into my world of poetry and discover how certain experiences have affected me," she said. "A part of my soul went into each and every one of these poems, and I feel poetry is the ultimate form of expression, which makes the essence of writing very fulfilling for me."
