The Friends of the Wayne County Public Library invite the public to attend the Spring Book Sale April 30 through May 2 in the Gertrude Weil Auditorium at the Main Library, 1001 E. Ash St., Goldsboro.
Sale hours Saturday are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
There will be a special preview on Friday, April 30, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., for members of the Friends of the Library only. Friends memberships will be sold at the door that evening ($10 for individuals and $15 for family memberships) and are available for purchase at the library at other times.
It's not too late to donate books for the sale. When donating, please note that the Friends do not accept encyclopedias, Reader's Digest condensed books, National Geographic magazines, textbooks or damaged books.
Proceeds from the sale will be donated to Literacy Connections of Wayne County, a newly formed literacy council.
