Coharie to hold equipment auction

CLINTON -- Coharie Farms will hold an equipment auction May 20.
The company, which had a number of contractors in the Wayne County area, filed for bankruptcy in November.
The auction represents the first stage of the liquidation of Coharie Farm's assets, according to a press release.
The sale will include the company's multimillion-dollar feed mill as well as tractors, dump trucks, trailers, forklifts, bulldozers and backhoes, office equipment furniture and fixtures; numerous mechanic tools and supplies to repair shop equipment."
