Man shot in robbery
Leonard Neal Jr., 40, of East Walnut Street was reportedly shot multiple times during a robbery in the parking lot at 508 E. Walnut Street, police said. The robbery suspect was described as a black male wearing dark jeans, but further description was not available from the report. The suspect reportedly fled south from the area in a an Oldsmobile of unknown make or model, the report shows. Neal's condition was unknown as of press time.
Home fired upon
Jameshia Charles of Hines Drive reported that she was inside her friend Lateryka Sanders' home at 115 Astor Court when a black car drove up to the curb and fired three shots at the house early on Sunday morning. Police estimated damages to the front screen door, front entry door and exterior wall board at $180, according to the report.
