Easter holiday closings announced

Local and state offices will be closed Friday in observance of the Good Friday holiday. Federal offices will remain open on both Friday and Monday.
All Wayne County offices will be closed, including landfill and convenience centers. All county offices will be open on Easter Monday. The holiday will not affect the Duplin County convenience sites, as they are normally closed on Friday anyway.
In Goldsboro, all city offices, including City Hall, will be closed and all sanitation services scheduled for that Friday will be serviced on Wednesday.
Town halls in Mount Olive, Pikeville, Fremont, Walnut Creek, Calypso and Faison are all closed. The Seven Springs town hall is normally closed on Friday.
Mount Olive officials said the closing would not affect Friday's garbage pick up on the east side of town.
