Stolen Case Farms gate
A 25-foot stainless steel gate was damaged and parts of it were stolen after a steel cable was cut at the business earlier this week, according to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office report. Damages and stolen property were estimated at $830, according to the report.
School theft
Two laptops were stolen from Dillard Middle School on Devereaux Street sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, according to a Goldsboro police report. A school employee reported Thursday afternoon that two Dell laptops worth an estimated $2,315 had been stolen from the school, police said.
