Due to the threat of inclement weather this afternoon and evening, which has the potential to produce high winds and damaging gusts, all Wayne County Public Schools after-school programs have been canceled today, Wednesday, February 10.
This includes athletic events, practices, tutoring, 4-H programs, drivers education and staff development. Parents who have children who participate in 4-H are encouraged to pick up their child as soon as possible after school is dismissed. A 4-H representative will stay at the school until every 4-H student is picked up.
Wayne School of Engineering and Wayne Early Middle College High School will release students early today around 1:30 p.m. after the buses arrive. Parents wishing to pick up their child early are welcome to do so.
