Southern Farm Show under way

RALEIGH -- The Southern Farm Show started Wednesday and runs through Friday at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds.
The fair is the largest agricultural exposition in the Carolinas and Virginia.
Show hours are from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, with free parking and food available on-site.
Today's events include an agricultural development forum this morning at the Holshouser Building and an FFA tractor and truck driving competition at 4 p.m. in the Hunt Horse Arena.
On Friday, a breakfast with the state agriculture commissioner will be held from 8-9 a.m. Cost is $25 per person.
Also on Friday, the national draft horse pull competition will be held, at 6 p.m. in the Hunt Horse Complex.
