The Neuse Regional Beekeepers' 2010 Spring Bee School begins Thursday at the Lenoir County County Cooperative Extension Service office at 1791 N.C. 11 south of Kinston.
The class will meet from 7-9 p.m. for six consecutive Thursdays.
The course is open to anyone who would like to learn about beekeeping or honey bees in general. No experience is required. For those interested in joining the N.C. State Master Beekeepers Program, initiate-level testing will be available following the course.
The $20 course fee, payable at the door, includes a textbook and other materials. Registration will be at the door.
The Neuse Regional Beekeepers was formed in 2006 to provide education and support for local beekeepers and the public.
