Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne's goal is to bring families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable houses.
Anybody who has ever wondered if they could qualify for a Habitat house, or who has wondered exactly what Habitat is and what it does for the community is invited to a meeting at 6 p.m. tonight at WAGES, 601 Royal Avenue.
Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne provides this monthly information meeting to the public as a required first step to qualify for a Habitat Home. The meeting will clarify the additional requirements a family must meet to be approved to purchase a Habitat house. Habitat officials say the organization offers a hand-up not a hand-out.
Anyone who would like more information for their business should call Linda Richardson at 736-9592 to schedule a meeting.
