Goldsboro City Council members are set to return to work Monday evening, as a light docket awaits for their first meeting of the new year.
Only three items requiring votes currently are on the agenda, including ones involving rezoning and conditional land use requests.
The zoning issue involves property owned by James Sutton, located on the north side of National Drive, between Cone Street and Central Drive. Sutton is requesting a switch from residential to residential mobile home.
The council is then expected to vote on an item involving a conditional land use request for property owned by Michael Lewis on the east side of Berkeley Boulevard, between Graves Drive and Ash Street.
At the end of their meeting, as is their custom, council members will open the floor to the public.
Those who wish to attend the meeting or address their elected officials should go to the council chambers, located on the second floor of historic City Hall, at 7 p.m.
