Wesleyan's Estes honored

Laura Estes, assistant director of North Carolina Wesleyan College's Adult Degree Program in Goldsboro, recently received the Distinguished Staff Award at Wesleyan's annual service awards ceremony held in Rocky Mount.
Wesleyan Vice President of Finance and Administration Loren Loomis Hubbell commended Ms. Estes for her "amazing attention to all aspects of the Goldsboro adult degree program."
"She is creative and innovative in so many aspects of the operation, from designing brochures to creating databases for textbook ordering," Hubbell said. "She has a professional and so very friendly attitude and interacts well with students, faculty and staff. And she is all about the students -- helping them get registered, shepherding them through the paperwork processes for financial aid and payments. She helps make them successful."
Estes is a 2007 graduate of N.C. Wesleyan College.
