Knife at school
A 15-year-old Southern Wayne High School was found with a black lock-blade knife in his pocket. School authorities were informed that the student might have a controlled substance in his possession, according to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office report. Upon a search of the student, the knife was found, authorities said. A juvenile petition was filed against the 15-year-old, the report shows.
