Two more men have been arrested in connection with armed robberies in Fremont.
Julious Bryant, 21, of Dudley, and DeQuan Braswell, 18, of Goldsboro, were arrested over the weekend and both charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Daniel Talib Smith, 18, of Dudley, was arrested last Friday and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
According to police, they were involved in robbing Robert Sealey, 19, at gunpoint while he was walking to the store on South Blank Street around 8 p.m. Oct. 17.
Sealey only had $5 in quarters, which he turned over. The suspect then patted him down and took his lighter.
Police Chief R.K. Rawlings said during the course of the investigation into the Sealey robbery, it became apparent that other robberies had also taken place.
"From information received from witnesses, it is possible that other robberies took place Friday Oct. 16, 2009 and Oct. 17, 2009 that were not reported by the victims," he said. "If there is any information concerning an unreported robbery, please contact the Fremont Police Department.
