Suspect indicted in 2008 murder

A North William Street man implicated in the murder of Nidia Yubitza Carrerra Solorzano, 23, was among indictments this month.
Cesar Becerril Romero, now 23, of Whispering Lane, Dudley, was 22 when Goldsboro police investigators charged him with an open count of murder.
The charges against Romero have expanded since his arrest on Dec. 23, 2008, now including first-degree murder, attempted first-degree rape and attempted first-degree sex offense, court records show.
Investigator Dwayne Dean was the lead investigator in the case, taking Romero in for interviews after two Sheriff's Office deputies arrested him in 2008.
Others indicted this month included:
*Mario Donta Faison, 29, J.J. Lane, possess with intent to sell or deliver a controlled drug.
*Andrew Wallace DeVaughn, 31, West Oak Street, possess firearm by convicted felon, habitual felony offense.
*Quinton Jerrod Huggins, 18, Wilmington Avenue, five counts armed robbery, felonious assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon, five counts possess firearm by convicted felon.
*Bonifilio Ramirez, 27, Cabin Creek Drive, Seven Springs, first-degree statutory rape, first-degree rape by adult offender, indecent liberties with a child, lewd and lascivious act.
*Jermel Shy'Kynm Jamison, 20, Courtyard Circle, possess stolen goods, felonious cruelty to animals, possess with intent to sell or deliver a controlled drug.
*Johnnie Levie McDuffie, 43, Goldsboro, felonious larceny, possess stolen goods, possess firearm by convicted felon, habitual felony offense.
*Tammy Flores-O'Sorio, age not available, McCullen Lane, Dudley, 11 counts embezzlement, 11 counts malfeasance by corporate agent, 11 counts larceny by employee.
*Charles Edward Faison, 45, South Center Street, Mount Olive, possess with intent to sell or deliver a controlled drug.
*Kenneth Wayne Taylor, 22, first-degree statutory rape, second-degree forcible rape, indecent liberties, lewd and lascivious act, first-degree kidnapping.
*Lateaka Chereasha Hatcher, 30, Boxwood Lane, felonious larceny, possess stolen goods, obtain property by false pretense, three counts misdemeanor larceny, habitual felony offense.
*Jacob James Voeller, 42, Pinewood Drive, financial transaction card theft, financial transaction card fraud, financial identity fraud.
*Tiffany Dawn Warren, 28, Pecan Road, Dudley, possess a controlled substance.
*Gregory Scott Harrison, 29, Smith Logging Road, possess a controlled drug, possess drug paraphernalia.
*Gregory O'Keith Jackson Jr., 26, South Oleander Street, possess with intent to sell or deliver a controlled drug, maintain a dwelling for the use of controlled drugs, second-degree trespassing.
*Justin Eugene Wiggs, 21, Ditchbank Road, felonious carrying a concealed weapon, misdemeanor possess a controlled drug, possess a stolen firearm.
*Angela Chanelle Leftwridge, 22, Dalls Road, trafficking in cocaine by possession, maintain a dwelling for the use of controlled drugs, possess a stolen firearm.
*James Hubert Leonard Jr., 31, Dallas Road, four counts possess firearm by convicted felon, maintain a dwelling for the use of controlled drugs.
*Letarcha Pearsall McGhee, 36, North John Street, three counts trafficking in cocaine by possession, two counts trafficking in cocaine by transportation, two counts conspiracy, two counts maintain a motor vehicle for the use or controlled substances.
*Jodeci Rivers, 26, Goldsboro, four counts break or enter a motor vehicle, misdemeanor larceny, misdemeanor possession of stolen goods, felonious possession of burglary tools, injure personal property.
*Chad Donnavan Herring, 21, Indian Springs Road, possess with intent to sell or deliver a controlled drug.

*Dominick Jerome Cutler, 19, Becton Circle, two counts discharge a firearm into occupied property, injure personal property.
*Marcus D. Barnes, 23, Wesley Drive, financial transaction card theft, misdemeanor financial transaction card fraud.
