Norwayne reunion Sept. 4-6

Norwayne Alumni & Friends will hold its 37th reunion Sept. 4-6.
Activities will begin with a social gathering Friday at 7 p.m. at the Norwayne Community Center on E. Branch Street in Fremont.
On Saturday, activities will include a parade at 10 a.m. in downtown Fremont, a banquet at 6 p.m. and dance at 9 p.m. at the H.V. Brown Hall, Dillard Alumni Cultural Center at 801 Poplar Street in Goldsboro.
A Sunday morning worship service will be held at the Norwayne Alumni & Friends, Inc. Community Center at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Patricia Coley Ford speaking. The weekend activities will culminate with a gospelfest at St. James Disciples Church of Christ at 514 Memorial Church Road at 6 p.m.
Proceeds go into the scholarship fund and Community Center building fund. Tickets are still available and may be purchased at the door for all activities.
