Berkeley widening workshop Monday

The state Department of Transportation will hold an informal workshop Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Faith Alliance Church at 3203 Cashwell Drive on the propoped widening of Berkeley Boulevard from Royall Avenue to New Hope Road.
DOT representatives will be on hand to answer questions and to accept comments on the proposed project. Informaton available will be general in nature, highway officials said, since detailed plans have not been prepared.
The proposed project involves the widening of the highway to a multi-lane roadway and might involve the purchase of rights-of-way and the relocation of homes and businesses.
