Fill the Boot set to kick off

The City of Goldsboro Fire Department, with help from the El-Roy Volunteer Fire Department, will be at Wal-Mart on Friday and Saturday, asking people to help "fill the boot," for Jerry's Kids.
The annual Fill the Boot campaign is aimed at raising money to help local families who have family members battling muscular dystropy.
Since 1953, the International Association of Fire Fighters has taken on the cause of raising money to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Their motto is "Committed until the day neuromuscular diseases are eliminated.
