Get your taste buds ready for Tuesday

The annual Taste of Wayne County food festival that opens the United Way's fund-raising campaign will be held Tuesday at Wayne Community College.
The event, which showcases the best restaurant fare from across the county, begins at 5:30 p.m. and continues until 8.
The event is expected to raise $6,800 in sponsorships, which pays for the booth rentals and advertising. Tickets sales will go toward the remaining event fees and any money after that will go toward the campaign.
Tickets are $12 each and children under 6 years old get in free.
In addition to sampling everything from pizza, visitors will get a chance to vote for their favorite dish. About 30 vendors have signed up to participate, officials said.
