An organization with a local chapter has opened a fund for the family of Capt. Thomas J. Gramith.

The Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association, a group established to "provide a dynamic association of like-minded aerial combat veterans who avow patriotism and the defense of the Constitution of the United States of America as its guiding principles," will start raising money now, its members said Monday morning. The mission of the RRVFP includes, among other things, providing aid and comfort to the families of military POWs and providing aid and comfort to the surviving spouse and children of those killed or missing in action

The River Rats/Air Warrior Courage Foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible and will be acknowledged and a tax receipt will be provided.

On-line credit card donations can be made using the "Give Direct" option at www.AirWarriorCourage.org

When prompted, indicate that the donation is for the "Gramith Family."

Donations can also be made by check payable to "AWCF." On the "For" line, indicate "Gramith Family." Checks should be mailed to AWCF, PO Box 1553, Front Royal, VA 22630-0033
