Stolen boat motor

James Daniells of Claybrook Drive reported a 15-horsepower outboard motor stolen from behind 415 Royall Ave., police said. The motor is valued at $1,000.

Juveniles charged

Police accuse four juveniles of three reported break-ins on Mimosa Street, leading to 20 felony-level charges against the group. Police caught up with two of the suspects after a witness reported seeing the juveniles attempt to break into another Mimosa Street residence. Police apprehended two of the juveniles immediately, and two more juveniles were charged after police investigation, authorities said.

Police car in crash

A Goldsboro police car crashed into a parked vehicle on Oak Street while assisting in a chase Thursday afternoon, according to an accident report. The police cruiser, driven by Officer Leann Young, sustained about $2,000 in damages after hitting a vehicle owned by Etta Bryant. Ms. Young reported that her vehicle suddenly lost power during the chase, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. Ms. Bryant's vehicle then collided with another parked vehicle, causing $2,500 in damages. The investigation is continuing.
