Armed robbery
Two men staying at the Quality Inn & Suites alleged an unknown black male robbed them at gunpoint on Monday, a report shows. Police are searching for a man about 6 feet tall with short black hair, with a "pit bull" tattoo on his left arm and a skull with dagger tattoo on his right arm. The suspect was wearing a navy blue T-shirt, black acid-wash jeans and carried a handgun, according to the report.
Man shot in heel
A Stronach Avenue man suffered a gunshot to the right heel Monday while talking to a friend in an East Elm Street parking lot, according to a police report. Derman Anthony Murchison, 18, was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment, according to the report.
