City, county, state, federal offices closed Monday

The city of Goldsboro will observe the Memorial Day holiday on Monday. All sanitation services scheduled for Monday will be serviced on Wednesday.
The Goldsboro/Wayne Transportation Authority will be operating on a holiday schedule on Memorial Day. The bus service will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The van service will operate on its normal schedule. Passengers requesting van service for Monday and Tuesday must call and schedule transportation no later than 2:30 p.m. today.
Wayne County offices also will be closed on Monday for Memorial Day.
The county landfill will be closed on Monday, as will the waste disposal convenience sites.
State and federal government offices will be closed Monday as well.
Waste Industries will be operating on a one-day delay schedule Monday through Thursday for customers that live inside the city limits of Mount Olive and in the counties of Wayne, Green and Lenoir. The collection schedule for Friday will not change. Customers are asked top pull their carts curbside the night before pickup.
Town halls in Mount Olive, Fremont and Pikeville will be closed on Monday, too.
