Occupied vehicle shot
Bernadette Brown of Sedgefield Drive reported Monday afternoon that someone shot her vehicle two times with her inside, while she sat in a parking lot at 901 N. Herman St. The suspect also allegedly fired another eight shots that did not strike the vehicle, the report shows. Ms. Brown and Russell Brown, a passenger in the vehicle, said they did not recognize the suspect. The alleged shooter is described as a black male in his 20s, with a medium build and wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and black pants. Ms. Brown reported that the suspect said "remember me" before firing the shots and fleeing on foot, police said.
