County drug officers say a Humphrey Street man sold "ecstasy" pills at least twice to undercover officers, leading to the seizure of 480 pills.
Goldsboro resident Damien C. Coley, 27, faces six trafficking counts of trafficking the drug, also known as "MDMA."
Coley was arrested Wednesday and authorities announced the charges on Thursday afternoon.
Coley was jailed under a $250,000 bond for the trafficking counts, in addition to other charges.
Coley also was charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell or deliver ecstasy and three counts of maintaining a vehicle for keeping or selling ecstasy, police said.
Drug officers with the Goldsboro-Wayne County Drug Squad said a Crime Stoppers hotline tip launched the investigation.
According to the charges filed against him, Coley is accused of delivering and selling the drug.
