The Wayne County Public Library has a new resource available for patron use, the Small Business Resource Center, which can help any entrepreneur get a business off the ground.
The comprehensive database offers content covering accounting, finance, human resources, management, marketing, tax and a wide variety of other topics relevant to small businesses. Library officials say the center is ideal for both aspiring business owners and students in business programs.
The center is designed specifically for library patrons and offers numerous search options. Users can search an entire document or limit their search to broader subjects and keywords. A "How To" menu offers answers to frequently asked questions and sample business plans are readily available.
The Small Business Resource Center reprints articles from a wide variety of primary sources, including business journals and has an entire Business Plans Handbook Series and Encyclopedia of Business Information Sources.
Small Business Resource Center is available to anybody with a Wayne County Public Library card. To access, visit www.wcpl.org and click on "Electronic Resources." For information, call the reference desk at 735-1824 extension 5100.
