Man wanted for sexual assault

A former Mount Olive resident is wanted for the sexual battery of a 7-year-old child in Wayne County, detectives said.
Investigator Paige Learnard reported that Jose Adan Cruz-Turcios, 25, a white male with black hair, brown eyes, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds, is wanted on the Class A1 misdemeanor charge.
According to state law, a person is guilty of sexual battery if a person engages in sexual contact with a person by force and against the will of another.
