Investigations

The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating these reports:

*The theft of $200 in cash was reported following a break-in at Fantastic Sams on North Berkeley Boulevard.

*Audio equipment was stolen from Greenwood Middle School. Two speakers, each valued at $300, were taken along with a sound box valued at $325 and a microphone valued at $75.

*Linda K. Mitchell, 65, Old Smithfield Road, reported the theft of her purse from a shopping cart. The purse, valued at $25, contained $500 in cash, a wallet valued at $25, prescription drugs valued at $25 and her driver's license and Social Security card.

*A TV valued at $500 was reported stolen from an unoccupied apartment operated by Rea Properties on East Ash Street.

*Ryan Englert, 21, Lockhaven Drive, reported the theft of items from his secured vehicle. The items taken and their values were GPS unit, $250; laptop computer, $700; white gold ring, $100, checkbook, $20; Web camera, $80.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating these reports:

*Lillian Joyce Andrews, 72, Durham Lake Road, Dudley reported the theft of a $600 generator.

*Derrick Warren, 38, Ward Drive, Dudley reported the theft of an $1,100 scooter.

*John Anderson, 43, Mooring Lane, reported the theft of a $1,000 scooter.
