The City of Goldsboro Public Works Department work crews will be installing water valves on Tuesday.

In order to do this, the water service will be interrupted for the residents on Winslow Place, Winslow Circle, Simpson Street, Herbert Street, 1000 block of South John Street, Dorsey Street, Marvin Street, Hopkins Street, 200 block of Wayne Avenue, and the 200-300 blocks of Bunche Drive, between the hours of 8 a.m. and noon.

In the event of rain, the date and time will be Thursday.

City officials said they regret the inconvenience this water interruption will cause, but that it is important to replace these valves.

Should any residence experience discolored water, please call the Public Works Department at 739-7437 for assistance.
