Man injured in motorcyle accident

A Fremont woman was cited after a Thursday afternoon accident in which she allegedly injured a motorcycle rider, authorities said Friday.

Timothy Anglin II, 26, of Fallin Boulevard in Goldsboro, was treated and released from Wayne Memorial Hospital, a spokeswoman said.

Anglin was injured after a crash at the intersection of New Hope Road and South Harding Drive, allegedly caused by Dawn Fratantuono, 53, of Bryant Street, Fremont, police said.

According to the report, Anglin was headed east on New Hope Road when Ms. Fratantuono attempted a left turn.

Ms. Fratantuono told police she did not see Anglin's motorcyle until she entered the intersection, the report shows. Ms. Fratantuono stopped in the intersection when she saw the bike, according to police.

Police said that Anglin tried to avoid the crash, but was unable.

Ms. Fratantuono was cited with unsafe movement, according to the report.
