Dog doing well
The dog Raymond Hooker returned to fetch from his burning trailer during a Wednesday morning mobile home fire on Commercial Drive is doing well and being cared for by his neighbors, a Good Samaritan reported Wednesday afternoon.
Knife threat
Ronnie Stanley of Dollard Town Road reported Tuesday that a 74-year-old man threatened him with a knife on South Landfill Road in Dudley, according to a report. The two men had been arguing because the 74-year-old allegedly made a mess at the landfill and refused to clean it up, the report shows. Stanley was advised to pursue warrants against the 74-year-old, authorities said.
