MISSING: Ashlee Michelle Davenport

Authorities are trying to find a reported missing 16-year-old Buck Swamp Road girl last seen at her home on April 13 (Monday) just before 5 a.m., according to a release.

The missing girl has a heart condition and may be without medication for it, the Sheriff's Office reported. The missing girl, Ashlee Michelle Davenport, was recently diagnosed with the condition, which authorities reported can cause her to suffer fainting spells.

The Sheriff's Office said Miss Davenport's parents, Mike Davenport and Michelle Edwards, had reported her missing.

According to authorities, Miss Davenport was last seen by her brother wearing a gray-colored hooded sweatshirt, gray pants with monkey patterns on them and "Sperrys"-brand shoes with light-brown sides and a dark-brown top, Detective Sgt. Tammy Odom reported in a news release.

If you have information about Miss Davenport's whereabouts, you are asked to call Detective Sgt. Tammy Odom at 919-580-4065, or the Wayne County Sheriff's Office at 919-731-1481.
