Family Y holding free Healthy Kids Day event Saturday

The Family Y will sponsor a Healthy Kids Day on Saturday as part of a national effort to encourage healthy activities.
The free event will be held at the Family Y on Parkway Drive. The event will include games and other creative activities for youth, including local medical clinics, inflatables, swimming, fire trucks, healthy food, a drumline demonstration, a diving demonstration, basketball, soccer and wallyball games, a kayaking demonstration, face-painting, balloons and an appearance by the WATCH Mobile.
It will start at 10 a.m. and run until 2 p.m. Live music will start at noon.
